Duncan Housing Society is a local, community-based, non-profit society.

The overall purpose of the Society is Independent Housing for seniors and persons with disabilities as tenants, at Duncan Manor.

Duncan Manor is a three-story, 122-unit building, consisting of studio, bachelor, and one-bedroom apartment units, and is located within walking distance of downtown Duncan.

The Manor is only steps away from Centennial Park, which offers community gardening and the Cowichan Lawn Bowling Club.

The Manor is also located a few blocks from medical clinics, pharmacies, financial institutions, grocery stores, public transportation, a senior activity center, and the Canada Post office.

Duncan Manor’s mandate is for low/moderate income seniors and, persons with disabilities, looking for affordable Independent Housing.

Independent Housing is about having the right to affordable housing. Remaining in a position to optimize choice and control over what time you get up, go to bed, the food you eat, and when to take a shower/bath.
